A new site for a new season

Year in and year out I plan on how I'm going to use this site to further my collecting goals, and somehow never get around to doing it. Well now that I'm using Facebook and Reddit and everything else under the sun, its time to give this a go again as well. More pictures, more posts about the strange things I come across in the hobby, and a detailed want list with over 7,000 cards and rising.

So here we are, with the most absurd season ever only two weeks out and completing it something that might take a miracle. Its next to impossible to find cards in retail stores because people stalk the suppliers, buy everything, and mark it up wildly. An art-based reprint set bringing new meaning to the term market volatility, and much like the world at large, so many story-lines that its hard to remember what all has happened this year. I for one am using this crazy time to dive headlong into reaching many of my collecting goals, which I hope you'll be able to help me with:

Total unique cards - 30,000 This one is close and I hope to be there by the end of summer.

Missing base - under 1,000 At about 1,500 right now...this could be tough

Ken Griffey Jr. - 2,800 Need a few hundred for this, but I'm optimistic

Ichiro - 2,000; ARod - 1,500 Need a hundred or so each for these

Randy Johnson - 1,000 Need 80

Autograph cards - 1,000 Need 40

Game-used cards - 800 Need 200
